He became acquainted with making musical instruments in 1995 after reading the book "Setar Saz"(Setar Maker) written by Late Chaychi. Later he was more interested to make musical instruments after meeting Taghi Arafati. Since 2002, he has professionally worked as an instrument maker and has trained some students as well. He is also trying new ways of making Oud.
